Cooke Zoom lenses - Coming Soon
We are currently fully over hauling 3 Cooke 20-1 T3.1-T22 zoom lenses they will be available in PL mount or lens mounts of your choice.

Zeiss Distagon T ZF lenses
We have just completed modifications to a set of three lenses for Jim Bishop working in Kenya. 21mm 2.8, 28mm 2.8 35mm & 85mm and for the time being a 135mm Nikon pending the arrival of a larger focal length ziess ZF.
The lenses now have 80mm fronts focus drive gears and no click stops but a stiffer iris movement.
The lenses retain their Nikon mount.

Nano Flash Developments
Vandiemen’s 19” Rack Mount is now available as a field package for 3 nano Units. The unit will accept 12V input 240V input (110 volts) and using 240V has 100% redundancy built in. Room has been left to fit a BNC Panel if required for easy inputting of data.

Nano Flash Rack Mount Grows
We have now improved a full independant power supply system into our 19” Rack Mount unit for Nano Flash Recorders. To back this up we are able to supply a UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply) to support Nano flash in field operations.

86x Box Lenses - Service Support -Sucesses
Van Diemen Films have been servicing such lenses for a major rental facility over the last 4 years, some of these lenses are no longer OEM supported.
We have been able to re manufacture parts optical and mechanical to keep these lenses in full working condition meeting the requirements of our clients customers these clients include SIS Outside broadcast units supplying services to the BBC
Has your lens been written off by the OEM?
The scenario , you have a lens for which you paid upwards of 12k 7 years ago it still looks as new as the day it came out of the factory. You send it in for service because it is not performing quite as well as it used to and the servo stalls.
The OEM service centre say to you, we regret we are no longer able to repair this lens it is outside our warranty support period.

The long and the short of it
The most common error which will render your Canon lens unusable is to mix up the servo control attachment screws.
Should you have reason to replace such screws it is essential to put the the long pair into the correct holes . If you get this wrong and put one in the wrong hole it will go right through and squash the Zoom cam unit.
